    I've got a machine gun now... Ho Ho Ho.

    Hanns-G is a monitor brand that's fairly new. In fact, the company seemingly sprung out of nowhere, with cheap monitors, having being spotted by HEXITES and posted several times in the HEXUS.bargains forum.

    Their CEO, or 'leader', might be familiar to some of you:

    The monitors are so good he'll kill you if you don't like them... now that's confidence in your own products! Anyway, the point of this post is that FastSilicon has reviewed one of these things:
    For under $180.00USD, the Hanns-G HW191D with a contrast ratio of 700:1 and response time of 5ms is a steal. From gaming, to general office work, the Hanns-G HW191D performs. Although some might worry about not having a brand name monitor, most don't realize that there are only a few major LCD manufacturers. Quite a lot of the brand name units use third party LCD's and all you're really paying for is the name.
    [FastSilicon]

    We're holding off on a HEXUS.review until we can do a Hanns-G shootout against the John-McL brand of monitors.

    (Thanks to the folks in this thread for a bit of inspiration.)

    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    The Hanns-G 19" monitor is now $100 in USA after $100 Mail-in rebate.
    Wish I can get one here. (Well, its a HC-194D not a HW-191D)

    If they can do non-widescreen for $100 then there is no reason why they can't do it with widescreen.
