I think they are well within their right to sue and highlight the inaccuracies in the document which was sent out without any caveats.
Its shameful that Sony (whether by choice or by lack of knowledge) send out a document like this with so many errors. This could have seriously harmed the other makers percieved competitive edge by using unsubstainitated claims.
I think Sony should be sending out a full retraction to the press. That way it can be seen by all, its alright us Hexusites seeing but we know more than Joe Public!

i suspect any press release by sony will have gone through their legal system and be tight as a ducks arse. they said in the statement that this is what it would cost to get a system of the same power as a ps3 (hense why they added the hd drive on) - which is how they get past the loopholes
