abit launches dual display uATX motherboard

It's an AM2, nForce 430 board and it's got VGA and DVI outputs. Bottom line is it looks to have plenty of power in a small space. OK, so the graphics aren't going to rattle through F.E.A.R., but for video playback it could be a winner.

The integrated nView technology allows the simultaneous use of two monitors while multi-streaming audio. Now you can watch movies on one screen while gaming away on another. Alternatively you can simply expand your desktop onto two screens in order to gain more space and a better overview of your computer’s workspace. The possibilities for multi-display usage are next to infinite and bring about an entirely new computing experience. More comfort, more flexibility.

I love these press releases which say you can game on one screen a watch a film on the other. Has anyone actually tried it? The movie will start up, you drag it over to one screen and make it full screen. Then you start up Half Life or whatever, and it goes fullscreen on the primary display and blacks out the second.

I think there's quite a way to go yet.
