    Dolby support Wii

PS3 has Dolby Digital 5.1 and Wii gets Pro Logic II.

Check out the Press Release for more info.

Two press releases from Dolby released today. One for PS3 one for Wii.

It's Dolby's official word on both. It's not old. If you can find the contents of that news anywhere else dated 21st September or before I'll give you a tenner, straight from my own purse.

Yeh thats what I was getting at. Why would Dolby want to release a press release hyping technology that has been around for years. It just seems a bit backwards to me.

because investors will say "ooh, dolby are licensing their tech to a company which forecasts millions of unit sales, that'll help with the ol' share price"
