    G80 pictures surface on Chinese bulletin board

    An electronic one... samples of the card weren't actually posted on physical bulletin boards. Phew, glad we cleared that one up. To quote the site hosting the pictures:
    此次G80产品选用12层线路板, 全板用料接近1400多个, GPU引脚1449个,连尺寸也突破了前辈,达到夸张的:280X127X42mm. 散热方面,除了正常的风扇之外,还将有加装了水冷散热装置的另一型号出现. 而显存是咳咳....1G!!
    Exactly my thoughts!

    Take a look over at the Chinese PCOnline website.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    for the watercooling! AFAIK all GTX models require watercooling, this may be packaged with it it may not....
    Look at the size of the die! It's huge *you can see from the back part of the card)

    Yeah, but as I said in the other thread, there's no point mixing air and watercooling.
    As the posters in the Chinese forum say, this is ?????????

    Look at the length of that thing, I hope they shorten it a little before release. Looks like a gig of RAM too.

    Mosterosly large, 2 PCI-E power connectors, water and air cooling. Either somone at nvidia is high or this is a wind up. Judging from poast performances I'm going to the first option.

    The again is if it really does need 2 PCI-e power connectors then the chip probably has a TDP of over 200w... monster cooling doesn't seem so mad anymore

    too big to fit in my soon-to-be-owned LC16-M case, and too power hungry to boot

    i will await for the GT version of the 0.65u refresh in early summer next year.

    And to those people who said 480w was enough.... Just about enough to run the SLi alone. ;-)

    What Hexus isn't just going to repost the pivture, with a tiny little mention there not there own. Your straying a bit from the rest of internet IT

    You have to keep up with current trends and shake up your Photoshop skills. Seems like certain sites have got very good at removing those annoying little site names from the photos.

    Well that's my pet peave in the open then.
