Computrolley launches Acronis True Image Home 10 into UK retail at £39.99

    PRESS RELEASE

Acronis, Inc., the technological leader in storage management software, announced the launch of Acronis True Image Home 10, the latest version of its file and system disk imaging backup and restore software for home and home office users. Building upon existing Acronis True Image Home capabilities, which allow for both the imaging of an entire system or file-based backup of individual files and folders, the new Acronis True Image Home goes one step further and enables users to back up specific music, photo and video files, entire applications and email files.

“With Acronis True Image Home 10, individuals and small office users gain more control than ever before in their ability to backup and restore the data that is most meaningful to them,” said Walter Scott, CEO of Acronis. “In keeping with our commitment to make restoring files as quick, easy and cost effective as possible, this release includes wizard-based controls that walk users step-by-step through the backup and restore processes.”

Does it have x64 drivers and Vista support? The former I really need, the latter would be nice for the future.

I don't have it, so I don't care about whether it works on the current builds. All I care about is that it supports Windows x64 now, and that I won't have to buy version 11 when Vista comes out.

    Steve,

There's no info yet about V10 on the main Acronis site.

However, the retail box says, in its last bullet point - "64-bit support".

    Oh, and you have email.
