    PlusNet to be taken over - BT the likely bidder?

    The London Stock Exchange confirms that a bid has been made to take over Sheffield-based phone operator and internet service provider PlusNet.

    I certainly dont want more BT related inet providers. I like the diversity we have at the moment. What could be argued is that there are quite a few, which makes it quite hard to choose one under the impression of "the best one"

    Dont expect to get upgrades from pipex btw XD

    If BT buy Plusnet that will probably push me to another ISP - unless they give a better service (doubt they will).

    ...And so plusnet continue their slide from one of the best ISP's to one of the worst, gladly im moving to a cable area on tuesday so its with a sigh of relief i bid goodbye to plusnet.

    doesnt sound like good news, looks like ill be switching my churchs broadband isp, plus.net were soo good now look at them not good news at all
