    Japanese brace themselves for PS3 launch

    The Playstation 3 goes on sale in Japan on Saturday with a sell-out expected.

    I don't understand the quote,if it's not out yet than how does he know it was worth the wait?

    of course it will sell out, Japan aren't even getting that many because Sony want the PS3 to sell loads in the USA to stop the Xbox 360

    Yeah you're right about them losing money on each one but they will also claw it back in licensing.

    Did anybody see the BBC report and discussion on Breakfast this morning? They seem far from convinced despite impartiality!

    what id they exactly 'discuss', the games industry and television just dont mix so im wondering what was actually said.

    Female presenter tried to play it but got stuck, I think it was Excite truck.

    And other than they just talked about whats inside in non-techy language, the cost and the rivals. Unsuprisingly no mention of the stupid quotes we keep getting.
