The battery that charges other batteries

OK, before the electronics bods get on to us, we know that if you put two batteries in parallel then they'll try to equalise their potential difference, but what we're talking about is a battery pack designed to charge smaller batteries on the move.

Seems like an intereting idea, but how is it implemented? These days everything has its own battery size/power configuration.

Thats a brilliant idea. 4 charges and it weighs about the same as a single set of batteries. I'll bet these will be popular with people that use digital cameras a lot.

Obviously it was a rough guess and i dont have any scales, but i was refering to a set of 4xAA batteries, although after having a guess, they are probably half of that

These types of thing have been around for a long time now. For £40, you would be better off investing in a couple of spare batteries if your device has a removable battery (obviously no good for iPod owners). But i reckon you could make a killing selling them at festivals.

You can also get a wind-up battery free version, have done for a few years now, but obviously you will get less talk time/power for a lot more work. But save the planet man.
