    PS3 shipment figures fall

The Japanese allocation has been slashed for launch and the North American targets are looking very shaky.

Check out the Headline for more info.

Thats all strange all I can hear is "EVRYTHING IS FINE, EVERYTHING IS FINE" being shouted at me!

Don't get me wrong I don't want Sony to fail, competition is healthy (go back to Commodore64 and Spectrum days) but if you got issues just say it.

That's another article about it. Things are just not looking good for Sony.

Seems that the PS3 is jinxed. Maybe someone over at Microsoft has been doing a bit of Voodoo.

I really hope that when it finally hits the streets, the quality of the gaming makes up for all the delay's and problems... I've just got a horrible feeling i'm gonna be disapointed!! (Although that's probably just cause i had such high hopes and have been anticipating and building the PS3 up in my mind for what seems like an age!!)

PS2 launch was just the same, and x360's global launch was poo too, I think this had to be expected

a truth which to be fair is reasonably accurate... although I stand by my judgement that the X360 in terms of graphics will be slightly faster than the PS3... I can't wait to see how devs are going to program for 7 cores.... when they find it hard to program for 2 on PCs :S

if 7 cores are hard to code for, i suspect the best looking games wont come out for a year or 2, after which it may look better than the 360...

you've also got to bare in mind that those guys are coding an exclusive title for the 360 - are they likely to be non-bias??

Yeah but haven't MS said they will be updating the Xbox every 5-6 years. In which case the technology available then will surpass the PS3. By how much I am not sure but it all seems like swings and roundabouts technology wise. The games and developers are the important parts.
