Good news. There are still things I don't particularly like but it's progress and I'm also pleased Microsoft listened to the chorus of howls! :)

Big step in the right direction but still not good enough, Microsoft only listened because most would'nt buy it as it stood.
I still won't be buying it

I think you will be wrong there, it would only be the real tech enthusiasts who would be upset.

The EULA is irrelevant to most users. I am also not convinced that they moved because of 'internet users', more likely because the EULA revisions were sent to Gold partners for review and comment. Still you got to big up the geeks sometimes otherwise they make those petitions and boycotts.
