    Wii launch tour 2006-2007

60 venues have been named for the Wii launch tour and if you're lucky enough to live near to those venues that are showing Wii before the December 8th launch date you'll be waving those hands in the air like you just don't care.

Check out the Press Release for more info.

anyone going to the Brighton do?
I am thinking this afternoon, weather is absolutely terrible, so might be less people.
Don't know if it's going to be outdoors, if it is there'd better be cover!

I imagine they'll just do it on the bottom floor of Churchill Square, I think there's a big enough area in the centre? I'm thinking of going there on Saturday, can't get out of work today or tomorrow :/

One of the manchester dates is 5 mins walk down the road from where I work, so I'll probably go and take a nosey!

Managed to pop out of work and get to the Brighton one at lunch! Glad I did, completed the Zelda dungeon demo and had a good game of tennis There seemed to be a lot of interest which was good, even oldies watching and wondering what the hell was going on Absolutely loved everything I played and saw, can't imagine I'm the first or will be the last person to say that. Managed to take a few phone-photos:

    Those photos look familiar!
Got a lot more busy at about 4:45.
Had a go on boxing - couldn't work out the controls, but still beat my 16 year old son. Then completely thrashed him on the Wii Play shooting game.
Very enjoyable, apart from I seem to have pulled a muscle somewhere between my right tricep and shoulder.
It will be good fun having mums, dads, brothers and sisters all playing together after the sunday roast, but this console is going to be the best ever post pub mates fun ever! And possibly another injury category for A&E.

seriously, i wonder just how many people are gonna get hurt playing the wii. Nintendo say its about fun, but it could turn out to be the most violent console ever

She was quite nice to talk to. Though I did notice she had a great big blob of chewing gum in her gob when she was speaking. She told me that it might be less busy on Sunday, which I can't argue with, as Nintendo pack up in Brighton on Saturday.

Thought Trauma Center was a launch title, but seems everywhere online says January 07. Booo, that was one of my favourite games for Wii.

Launches at midnight tonight in the US.

GOW, Rainbow 6:Vegas on Xbox 360 and Zelda, Rayman on Wii. What a great Xmas!
