    Hi,

Can anyone tell me why these cpus are so expensive and do they really bring that amount of performance gain for that money?

Most consider gpus ahead of cpus but are we at the point where spending alot on a gpu will only make sense if you match the out lay on the more expensive cpu?

Cpus are so unsexy not like the gpus anyways...

It's an extreme edition chip. Which always sell for $999 even though some american sites currently have them pegged at $1499

We sell the OEM version for £734.38 and if you take into account the free carriage offer it should work out cheaper than Dabs. Plus it comes bundled with a free game - Splinter Cell double Agent...What more could you ask for!

It's pointless to get one now unless you're a serious gamers, who wants to play game in very high specs.
I look forward to Amd's quad core.

I'd imagine there are a few people in the ipswitch area in need of "relief", should be able to earn a quad core in an evening

Novatech have lowered the price to £668.58 & have 9 in stock, I use Scan on a regular basis, but the price is still very good.

Infact the lowest online in stock is a bargain £645!!
