Have to agree with some of the posts here, getting sick of reading about "partners" an "advertisers". I just want to read about the products and have an independent view on them.

Then just read the product reviews and ignore the news/bargain articles.

Some of us also see Hexus as an informational site, where we are occasionally pointed to good bargains. Lots of other sites bring good deals to the attention of their readers as it's in the readers best interests.

ok so Hexus and Scan are cosy.... but they're both best in their field so it makes sense to me.... now if hexus was pointing me at ocuk or ebuyer then id get wary!!

    ON Topic:

mm nice cards, but you can pick-up a 7900GTO for less...and these have 512mb and a Quiet cooler.... about the same speed too...

think you should mention those in your piece instead of the 7950gt s !!!

Yup, they are both similar - I would say the 7900GTO is better in games that NVidia excels in, and the x1950XT is better in games that ATI excels in

(the x1950xt is a touch faster than the x1900xt listed in that graph).

well, it's a good card. If you're a ati fan or a hdr+aa wanted gamer, this card is for low budget gamers.

in some games can even beat the 7900gtx 512mb. If you do have a crossfire motherboard, it can be your choice to buy 2 to setup cable less crossfire.
buy one card is more than enough to take on anything at 1280*1024 with hdr+aa on.

The x1900xt is faster accross the board though (i'm a gto owner btw). It absolutely owns in oblivion. You pay for the lil extra performace with energy consumption and a louder cooler...
