Crysis is D3D9 for the most part. There will be a D3D10 "patch" for some of the games shaders but at it's core, theres nout but DX9.

The game does look good and I dare say amazing in certain parts of it. I was at i29 watching this talk and asside from the many, many bugs there were parts that look no better than HL2. They answered little of the more pressing questions that were asked and very untactfully aswell. For the BF2142 talk at i28 atleast the guy had some skill at side-stepping questions.
Basically, it wasn't ready to start showing off in it's current state. Far from it.

I suppose i can be all cliched and say - switcg to Opera or Firefox, or go back to IE6, imo it's a much better browser. Otherwise, just make sure you have plugins etc. if not.. have a looksee at work or whatever, you won't regret it.

Q 'N' A can be very quiet at times, you cannot hear what the questions/answers are. I just turn up my speakers tho

Yeah, unfortunately the feed we had was a bit quiet as the guys didn't get close enough to their mikes. We can't do anything about that sadly.

Fantastic video, really was an eye opener to a game I've only seen the odd thing about on google video. Could do with a bit of post processing on the audio front just to enhance the volume of the audio at times.
