I can see a sales surge for 2.5" Hdd's happening when this comes out. Having just forked out for Sky+ i'll wait until my contract is over before i invest.

Not a bad price tag for dual HD ready tuners really. £80 is a tad less than I thought it would be. A nice upgrade for people who dont have a PVR.

    Two questions though:
    - Can it play games and record at the same time?
    - I'm assuming these are DVB-T type tuners?

and how will it interact with Sky? will it be possible to record from an ordinary digibox using a compatible EPG or is it gonna be a mass of complicated timers and recording from aux channels?

Obviously the watching of one channel and recording of another is out the window as Sky + boxes require 2 feeds from the satellite dish, but what about with cable?

Will there be a monthly charge as there is with Sky+ or will this be more like Tivo, a one off investment?

Its a nice idea being able to play games and record TV at the same time, and i hope that this is all integrated with Sony's HOME project, which looks rather spiffy

(did i really just use the word spiffy? i believe i went there, its leather patches on the elbows and a pipe for me next)
