Steven, do you know of any shops which have stock? None of the local PC World's seem to have any left.

Yeah I don't have one yet but as long as I get one for Christmas I'll be happy. Hopefully PC World will get more stock in a week or two.

I've got over 20 HD-DVDs now. More and more new releases (as well as older releases) are coming out on the format........Batman Begins and Miami vice for instance are great in HD :)
I get mine from Movietyme.com but I beleive that places like HMV and Virgin are starting to stock them.
What are the older movies like for quality?
It all depends on the source material but most are really good and a VERY noticable difference in PQ.
The 'oldest' HD-DVD I currently own is GoodFellas (1990) and you can easily tell it apart from its DVD release.
I would love to get my hands on one of these for Christmas (little present for myself). If only I could find one, anyone know of stock anywhere????
They're proving hard to locate at the moment, a lot of consumers are still waiting for their pre-orders to be fulfilled. Rumour has it that new stock shipments are expected later this week so hopefully they'll be a little more accessible by the weekend.
