That is just ****ing stupid. That guy is just obviously nuts!
Doesnt help this fight against games don't cause violence tho :(
Having just read the full article I felt sick to the bone to find that Spellman caused such severe damage to his daughter for her to die of her injuries.
I could understand that he would be annoyed that the games console got disconnected when she pulled the cord, but to do what he did was completely out of order and unnecessary. This guy should not have been left to look after a young child like that.
A psycho like that I\'m surprised she lived that long. Truly shocking
If it wasn\'t the knocked over console that triggered his anger it would\'ve been something else down the line, the guy is just crazy.
Poor girl, I\'m speechless...
Imagine the conscience agony he would have gone through, his console over his daughter? Well, that is if he had any, I wouldn\'t expect much from a 25 year old though.
what happened if she pulled the plug when he was watching battle royale?
Just sad, really just so sad.
The poor little thing, wanting to spend time with her dad. I can't believe his statement he said that he 'popped her' one. That makes it sound like it was a common occurance.
That guy will get some time in jail. Utter fool and I truly hope that his actions haunt him through his life.
it doesn't say anything about the mother in this?...
wonder where she was?
Very sad, but if it wasn't his daughter unplugging his Xbox, it would have been her knocking over his star wars collection or maybe getting some paint on the walls or anything else that kids do really.
He DOES however need to be sterilised though - to prevent him from ever being able to do that ever again (not for eugenics like reasons)
Easy to blame videogames! I see no one mentions the fact he should of been supervising her properly instead of messing about on his Xbox.
My friend's 25 and a parent, as parents go one of the best I know. Lets not generalise here.
I am guessing the he may not have been level headed at the time and been stoked up on some drugs or something. Its not the actions of a reasonable man, and thats the problem with having guns in most homes.
