    Because they have hopes that they can change things.

    The problem is as games become more expensive to make and if a game fails then it could ruin the company.

    My major gripe with EA is that they are the dominant force in games and as shown by that chart make the most profitable games.

    Surely they could take risks with some crazier ideas and if they dont work out absorb the loss...
