Free Trial of 'Race' On Steam

Between 1pm PST (9pm GMT) today and the same time on Sunday, you can play the game 'Race' for free on steam. I'll probably be playing with a few others on release at 9pm tonight. Drop into IRC, and we can all give it a go together on teamspeak or something .

It's not a bad game, but it's just all about controlling understeer really, if it oversteers the car just sorta judders left to right once each way, then straightens up.

Although the beemer in the rain, with slicks on the rear can become an interesting (and very difficult) challenge. (I put the slicks on to try a hand at drifting round Monza.)

just tried it, hmmm its ok much like GTR2 really in fact if you'd of told me it was a free mod for that game i'd of believed you.

I'll give it another few goes over the weekend but doubtful that i'd buy it, its no live for speed or rfactor thats for sure.
