I very much doubt that those looking to buy a PS3 will have any problems picking one up at the standard price. HMV and other retailers are clearly looking to increase their margin a bit over the miserable amount they're offered on each purchase, but I can see them sitting on a lot of bundles in the weeks after launch that they'll have to strip back down.
I was thinking along the same lines as charleski - people will still buy them, even if most people see that its a bit of a rip off...
Mike's guide to console discussion:
1. Replace "HMV" with "Ebay seller"
2. Copy and paste all discussions about the Xbox360 at launch date.
3. Copy and paste all discussions about the Wii at launch date.
4. Lather, rinse, repeat.
