    HEXUS.reviews :: Antec Fusion Chassis

    The HTPC market has seen a big shift recently, with more of the mainstream manufacturers producing higher specification HTPC chassis’s with a much keener price point. Antec previously released NSK2400 and with the introduction of the Antec Fusion it looks, on paper at least that Antec are looking to move up in the world, but the question is, have they?

    It is compatible, as it is based on the iMon VFD design......however, BEWARE, as it includes no IR. That means no remotes will work, and there is no space to mount one internally.....

    Hmmm, oversight much!! Thanks Antec....

    Weren't the boards with the 6150 graphics uATX though? They were pretty much perfect for a HTPC

    Just wondering if the reviewer (or anyone else!) has tried using a PATA HDD in there? Is there enough room for the ribbon cables?

    I'm thinking of getting the Fusion and slapping an old i865G board in there with the remains of my old system.

    All (constructive) comments welcome

    is there now

    I will have some very tasty news about Antec very shortly after meeting with thier Snr. VP today

    As for the PATA issue there should be no problem as there is plenty of space in the end of the chamber for the HDD's
