Re: Reviews - Sapphire (AMD) Radeon HD 4670: bullying the mainstream market
I agree about the 3D bars but the flash is just flash. It's not something that will halt your system...
They've probably designed the graph system so it will use flash most likely because they can dynamically change the values (maybe it loads the graph data from an xml file) without having to reupdate the images (like the old way) hence why DR said it's a benefit to them.
I suppose if their graph system was AJAX people would still, not moan but be unsatisfied.
What system specs are you running that flash causes to slow down.

I still use and E520 (Dell - I know!!) with a 7600GT, does what I need. There wasn't many games worth upgrading for, but with the way the price wars are going, I may be able to pick up a decent single slot, although I'm still limited by length (length -LOL).

That is why we do two things:
1. Label each result with its precise value
2. Use a default viewing angle that is not too far off the normal, to avoid a misleading perspective.
You can click and drag the graph to change the perspective if you so wish.

Very nice, but it still can't go to 2D mode. Just won't let me drag that little bit to get there. Plus the Legend overlaps the bars sometimes.
Re: Reviews - Sapphire (AMD) Radeon HD 4670: bullying the mainstream market
I'm tempted to get one of these for my media box. Means I'll be able to play some games on my HDTV now as well as watching movies etc. Screen res is only 1366*768 so should produce similar results to the 1280*1024 graphs.
BTW I think the flash graphs are very nice.

I would have liked to see how one of these paired up to the 3870 in the review. As you can get one for around £100-£120 nowdays.
But must admit the 4800 series are excellent by ATI ... Great work.
