GeCube All-In-Wonder 9600XT 128M/TV/FM

The All-In-Wonder features add the icing onto the cake. While the GeCube doesn't ship with RemoteWonder II, it doesn't really detract from the package as a whole. The usage nuances in RemoteWonder soon fade when you start to really use the software as intended. As a conduit to PVR functionality on your home PC, while not perfect (where's the digital TV tuner or U.K. programme guide?), it's hard to do better than an All-In-Wonder product.

When that product comes with a Radeon 9600XT GPU, that ten-out-of-ten itch starts to need scratching again.

I can't stop giving ATI All-In-Wonder products 10 out of 10.

What's the deal with giving it 10/10 and when...

1) Its got the old remote with ergonimic issues
2) It doesn't have DVI
3) It cant handle HDTV or digital signals
4) The cooling fan is noisey and doesn't cool the RAM
5) The memory clock & bandwidth is significantly behind state of the art.
6) Not a "perfect PVR" conduit.

Gecube have recently appointed 2 trade distributors in the UK, I work for one for them.

I can conform the retail price will be below £200 for the 9600XT AIW.

Remote wonder 2 is an optional upgrade for the 9600Pro and 9600XT AIW, and should ship as standard soon.

Hopefully the full range of Gecube cards should start filtering through to retail in a couple of weeks.
