    And all are pre-overclocked, too.

Sorry to be picky, but the system setup and notes page suggests that an aftermarket cooled pre-overclocked core-216 GT260 can be had for £144. This got me very excited, such that I rushed through every e-tailer imaginable to find such a deal. However, I have now concluded it is probably a mistake. Shame.

If there should be any such card for £144 feel free to link me - and probably everyone else too

erm - i think you misread it slightly, it says the GTS 250, is £144.

unless the articles been updated since 1pm, then i apologise.

on another note, i'm very happy with my non-reference sapphire 1gb 4870 - which idles at ~35C. i've just been playing an hour or so of far cry 2 and catalyst says its 45C now, so fairly impressive stuff there ( i should say that there are 4 x120mm fans and 2 x 80mm fans blowing air around )

is it just me or is it about time hexus came up with a few more games in their GC reviews?

definitely not Crysis seriously though would love to see a few strategy titles with a lot of units on the screen - hopefully smth. like Supreme Commander (which i know is particularly cpu hungry) or any of the last 2 Total War series titles. IMHO it would be great to have at least 2 games of the most popular genres (say like strategy, fps, rpg, sports and driving) in your suite as this would give a lot clearer picture in reviews. i know it involves alot more work for you guys, but would be great if possible. hope this helps, thanks.

How can a card which was and still is unobtinable in June 2009 be the reccomended winner of this test?

Pre-overclocked 260's with these excellent coolers are pretty scarce

The cooler alone is worth £40 so its no suprise they cant supply them at a decent price making the bank per buck look silly.
