New on the scene with an Indilinx Barefoot controller and touting some impressive speeds, we give the 128GB drive a quick rinse in the benchmarkwasher.

Has it been confirmed that the Crucial drives use the Indilinx controller then?

If so, they're looking reasonable value, even if the Intel drives are better performing overall. I haven't seen any reviews of the crucial drives, are they in the forthcoming Hexus round up?

Oh, and again, are you testing the lower capacity drives in the round up? there are loads of reviews of the 256 and 128 gig drives, but hardly any of the 32 and 64 gig ones. As they are officially lower spec, it would be good to see what sort of difference there is in real world tests.

Yup, the Crucial is an Indilinx-powered drive.

And yes, we're going to be looking at a bunch of sub-£100 SSDs on Windows 7 RTM very soon.
