I actually don't like it very much. Shooting is quite crap.

I am however playing it more, hopefully it'll grow on me.

No shooting is just harder and more realistic, with more importance being put on where the ball is as you hit it and your balance, which means unlike last year you don't always smack the ball cleanly even under massive pressure. There is also the small matter of 360 degree control meaning shoots have to be aimed much more.

The less you are, the less you express your own life, the more you have, the greater is your alienated life, the greater is the store of your estranged being." Karl Marx

The thing is, I was messing about with C Ronaldo in practice mode.

I repeated the same steps over and over, run forward with the ball by using the right stick, run forward a few more steps then shoot, with practically the same amount of power in each shot.
Each time, the directional pad was facing exactly the same way. Each time, the shot's direction would vary, wildly.
Perhaps I just need more time to get used to it but I don't like that the ball moves whatever way it likes, seemingly regardless of what you want it to do.

yeah same here, total bargain, been playing it online a bit, it's hard to believe but it makes FIFA 09 feel really basic and on rails compared to itself and hitting a through ball to a speedy player isn't such an easy cheap tactic anymore, you have to work the ball much more as the defenders do a better job of tracking runs.

I'm tempted to rent this to make up my mind. I've been in the Konami camp so long but this is getting good reviews.

    Re: Reviews - FIFA 10 - PC, Xbox 360, PS3

i must say the online side of things is a bloody joke. most people get kicked out of "every" online game they play in. It has happened to me and 20 others who are on my Virtual Pro club.

Check out the fifa forums. 99% of fifa fans are complaining about bugs. its one of the most buggiest fifa games i have played imo.

they better fix this quickly. This game should have had a open beta for the online side of the game. it has become soo complex online with the amount of features and options involved it really needs an open beta testing done like in MAG.
