    ABIT Radeon 9800 XT 256MB

"The ATI Radeon 9800 XT 256MB card is a fine proposition for the enthusiast that wants the best gaming experience right now. ABIT, however, does not do enough to justify a price premium over other reference-like cards. We're glad that ABIT has decided to shack up with ATI, but we're miffed as to why it missed an opportunity at marketing the must-have 9800 XT. "

It's a generic card with an ABIT sticker and inflated price. ABIT's done nothing to make it stand out. That's the problem.

A 1/10 would be a product that simply didn't match the quoted specifications, was exorbitantly expensive, and failed to deliver in every way possible. In short, it's difficult to give a 1/10.

    Abit Ati 9800xt

I think you guys are missing a key point:

In almost all the reviews (and in my personal experiance) (I own one of these) this is the fastest 9800XT out there (that is soley based on the reference model).

So in one way your right - it does seem overpriced, but my overclocking results go above yours - though I'm still tweaking to get 100% stable

I would give this card an 8/10 and certainly no lower than a 7/10 at worst.

Can you do a comparison between this card and other 9800xts That way we can see if you've just got a duffer card, or what.

Performance is generic at the default clocks. ATI are famous for not letting their board partners change clocks, memory timings and anything else that's set by the card BIOS.

All 9800XTs will perform within a margin of error of each other at stock clocks, on the same base hardware.
