Interesting.... the downside of my HTPC is the size of the box, which won't bit in the shelves of my TV stand, but has to go on top, under the telly... Clearly, this would avoid that, being more on a par with Wii size, from the look of it, but twice as thick...
My HTPC: Linky
Just read the review with interest.
I'm after a small HTPC, and this was on my watch list.
£600 if definitely too expensive for what I plan to use it for though.
I was hoping more the £400-£500 price band.
Guess I will keep an eye on the Dell website for the eventual price drop.
£600 is too much, but that is for the top specced system. Do you really need 8GB RAM and a 1TB hard drive?
A dual-core with 3GB, a 500GB HDD and the HD4330 GPU is £390 inc delivery, which is very decent in my opinion.
Even over HDMI, Dell makes no mention of 5.1 abilities? In fact in the configuration part of the website it specifically mentions 2.1 Sound.
Massive oversight on Dell's part if they are intended to be funky cheap media centre PCs, if not, a missed opportunity perhaps?
As mentioned above.
The mini mac already owns that space in retail, so anything else has to force its way in. Also, this look like it's made from 1970's melamine.
However if anyone is interested...
