Matty how do you seriously afford all these accessories?. Are hexus funding you or something? If so care to send some my way, i would appreciate trying out a new mouse .
Good review but about the sensor, it obviously aint the best but its far from poor, what DPI did you experience these problems at? I know that the Habu suffers from problems with low dpi along with the equivilant razer (death adder? THe £40 one). These sensors are designed to run at high DPI and not low DPI, its a way to cut cost and DPI is kinda like the MP of camera phones, mainly marketing as the higher number is assumed better. Obviously that is a bit different as these do perform very well at their rated dpi just they suffer at lower DPI, too reduce this its recommended to run the mouse at the highest or close to that and then just lower the system or game sensitivity.
Although your other points seem like they dont need any explanation, looking at the buttons i agree that is complicated for a mouse .
But the mouse going the wrong way? That's clearly not acceptable! If I move my mouse left I expect my cursor to go left, at the very least.
And I also expect it to work on most surfaces.. Including wood. That's why the sensor is "poor".
Even my old £3.50 mouse didn't have these problems..
Sorry matty i honestly missed that part of it going the other way, i agree that is pretty damn bad.. the worst id expect is not a fluent movement and the sensor occasionaly skipping.
The wood is PVC coated, there for is a shiny surface right? Lazer struggles with shiny wood just as optical . However this is an appropriate con, for you its needed and therefore it fails and thus your right to include it. Luckily for me it doesnt affect me . Does it work well at a high DPI on a roccat mouse mat and other mats?.
With that in mind i agree with your ~60%, for a "gaming" mouse it should be suitable for almost any dpi . But seriously do you buy these things out of your own pocket and then take em back or do you get them for free? If the latter tell me how .
Also, how did you get this review posted onto hexus homepage? is it a special forum i missed ?
Also explained in the review
I wrote a review for my own mouse (off my own back) at the start of march, the Roccat Kone, and then posted it up on here and Steven W was really impressed so he offered me the "chance" to review some items that he gets sent. Of course, I was more than happy to review them .
My last comment should clear this up .

Going by the pictures, isn't the writing on the right click button? Like the Lambo comparison; any chance of a photo with the mouse lit up so we could see the "headlight" effects? The aesthetics of the Kova are amazing, it’s a gorgeous shape and has Roccat written down the left click button, which looks great.
I have a Razer Mamba, Hexus intending to review that at any point would be interested in what they say? One thing I don't like is that it seems to be a bit flakey in Windows 7 sometimes mysteriously ceasing to work, or moving but the buttons not working(!) - though I have had these problems with other USB devices such as keyboard plugged in to the same system so it may be just the system.
Also: DO NOT BUY THE RAZER DESTRUCTOR MOUSEMAT, it's rubbish, because of the design being so soft, when you click, the mouse moves slightly every time, very bad for sniping for sure. Went back to plain desk surface, may buy a metal razer exactmat again unless anyone knows anything better!
outed!
