Why are the OCZ Vertex and Agility 60Gb drives not in the benchmarks?

Because we have not been sampled with them.

We're trying hard for manufacturers to provide us with medium-capacity drives. As soon as they're in, they go into the benchmarks.

Good of you to offer, but I suspect for the results to be at all meaningful you'd need to follow the same test methodology, including using the same system components at the same settings.

fantastic i'll keep my eyes peeled! I did spot that one but its not listed as compatible with my P6T mobo. Might drop Asus support an email and ask about it as usb 3 would be a handy upgrade.

( More generally: ) Thanks for the review of this product. I may well get one of these rather than another X80-M. (I hadn't checked SSD reviews in a while.) Intel's offerings seem to be looking dated.
