Thinking of an upgrade to LGA1156, but not sure which cooler to buy? We put a quartet to the test.

Have you got a link to the test with the same conditions showing that?

    No Titan Fenrir (Christmas edition)?

I thought this was one of the more popular high performance coolers atm, and now comes with 1156 bracket.

Was deciding myself between a Fenrir and an H50 so a shame from my perspective, but interesting findings nonetheless

I'd also like to know. The Megahalems kicked many of its contemporaries to the curb when it was initially released, hence it's since been cooling my mildly-overclocked Q6600 perfectly well.

    Loved this image:

I'd be quite interested in getting the Corsair H50, but am unsure - yet - if it'll fit into a Sugo SG05b case.

Probably not. Shall look into it a bit more (unless someone wants to help ).

Re: Reviews - LGA1156 cooler shootout: Arctic Cooling, Corsair, Scythe and Zalman go

I like phrases like "effectively silent". Does this mean that the Arctic Freezer Extreme 2 is less quiet than a stock Intel i3 cooler, and by how much? I expect it to perform a hell of a lot better but it is the volume of the stock cooler that is getting my goat. Any Arctic Cooler users out there?
