    ATI's Radeon X800 PRO

It may pay to see what NVIDIA have to offer in the same price range and we'll be evaluating 6800GT performance in the near future, but in isolation against the ATI products that sit above and below it, the X800 PRO is highly recommended if you have the money to spend.

75% of the price as the X800XT and 75% of the performance (when not CPU limited)... sounds pretty fair to me still about £200 more than i'm willing to pay for a graphics card tho

Gainward seem keen to bring out a varied 6800 range, so there should be something that suites most poeple. I am impressed with thier CoolFX option, although not having used one I am not sure what to expect. The full Gainward Press Release can be found here. Enough to tempt ATi fans back to nVIDIA - well i am not sure about that, but if you have more money than sense a watercooled 6800 Ultra would be great!

Fair, but not as fun for those that have got used to buying the mid range card that costs £100 less but is only 5% slower than the 'XT' one....bah ATi, no fair
