Just one 3.5mm stereo, so no "real" surround sound. Move along please, move along.
So does anyone have this?
I'm thinking of buying these as a short term measure before I can get new PC 360 to replace my 350's.
Using a pair at the moment.
They need a lot of tweeking with the EQ to get right but sound very nice once you get there.
Very light and comfy. Damn cheap at the moment also :)
Are you using a sound card with them?
I read a lot of reviews on Newegg how bad the bass is and how low the volume is, but it seems a lot of these guys complaining about are using onboard sound chips. While people who have a sound card like me report that the headset sounds really good with good bass.
Still confused if I should purchase these or buy a £10 mic and tape it to my PC350's, but for the sake of £20 more, could get a other nice headset.
But I can't decide if these Corsairs have better sound over my PC350's.
Using an XFi Titanium.
There's nothing wrong with the volume of them but as I said, they certainly needed tweaking on the EQ.
lot more so-so than I expected, good job they were dirt cheap :)
Thanks for the replies guys.
I decided to keep with my PC350's and just buy a clip-on mic (Speedlink version) and tape it to my mic boom till Christmas, they sound too awesome to give up.
