Kalniel gets his mitts on the special edition
Um.. I wish! I played (and this review is only talking about) the standard edition. Though I'd happily take a special edition version if you've got one going..!

    Excellent review.
The original game was rather good despite some awkward areas.
    Looking forward to trying 'W2'.

I'd take quality over quantity any day, and it's still far longer than most shooters. It's just not an 80 hour epic like some RPGs, though it is worth going through at least a few more times to see some of the alternate choices play out (you can see at least a third of the game from quite a different perspective).

It's a pain in the butt to set up different authors, not as easy as just typing the name, there's account creation involved and such.
