A great shame about the noise. I have a 700D and it's pretty noisey out of the box (IMO).

It looks like the same drive mounting mechanism, I have found this to be very poor on the 700D, transmitting vibration from the drives to the case which can act as a resonating box. I ended up replacing them all with silicone mounts I had to make myself, a vast improvement. It's a shame Corsair haven't taken the time to sort out these issues.

Still, minor or none issues depending on whether case noise is something you care about. I have no doubt the case will be excellent in all other regards. For me though, the noise and lack of a "no window" option rule out this case.

Looks a beautiful case the cable management and layout would make a new-build an absolute breeze - personally I will wait until corsair (or somebody else) release a case with usb3.0 header support on the front IO ...

One more thing to note is that the new white 600T also has the same fans as this which run @1,000 rpm max.

Yes they have USB3.0 ports at the front but it has to be routed through the case to the IO shield at the back of the case. What I mean is an internal USB3.0 header cable that connects directly to the motherboard.

I think the new Coolermaster Enforcer is the only one available at present:

As far as I'm aware there's an adapter included that converts the USB3.0 cables back to header pins for internal connection.

    The pictures on Scan's site:-

Appear to show an adapter, which I assume is for this purpose (I may be wrong).

Am i right in saying that header adapter is USB 2.0? Thought USB 3 was much wider

I think you are. The converter must be to convert back to USB2.0 on those ports

I'm with "davidcrofter" in that case, it seems bizarre to have external connectors for a part that is designed to be internal.

The cable you are looking at is a USB 3.0 to a motherboard usb 2 header.

So you can plug the usb 3 cables into the motherboard via usb 2 internal header.
