    When 512s go down to £200 mark, that's when I won't look back as the choice for laptops.
    At the moment - 128gb - ok for a desktop boot drive, but not enough as a single drive for laptops;
    256gb - this is a reasonable size, but still a compromise for mobile laptops (who wants to lug around an external drive?).

    SSD better than the already great 830. Sounds good.

    The Samsung 256GB SSD is now priced at £116.99 on Amazon which is around £5 - £10 less than the cashback offer once cashback is paid.
    The cashback offer is no longer running so no chance of getting this for under £100 ..... yet.
