Is it just me or are machines like this becoming less relative while actually maturing enough to be useful?

Yes. But it's possible to get similar performance in slightly smaller chassis too - going purely on the photos, my Dell M6600 (albeit 17") isn't anywhere near as thick. It's not portable, but it doesn't look huge either (which this Clevo does, at least from the Hexus photo angles!).

Check the 3 key, this is their UK keyboard, the one Clevo supplies as UK at least.

looks a beast. Beast being the world. It's too heavy for a laptop. Screen res is ok, but I would prefer a IPS option on it.

Oh I see, weird mashup between UK and US layout then.

Odd - you can not pick the AMD Radeon HD 7970M has a option, it is not listed on the config page for this laptop
