Is there any chance of you putting 690 & 7990 in these high end benches? Not because I think people will buy one, but it will give a decent comparison for people considering SLI/Crossfire with older cards.
Something just feels right about a dual slot card, with a solid cooler and two 8-pin power connectors. And with quite an impressive OC out the box. :surprised:
Whoa that things a monster. If I did buy one at £600 though, I'd end up banging my head off the wall when the electric bill came in.
Why the hell would any gamer even consider a titan now?
Really nice GPU, finally what the GTX680 should've been all those moons ago!
£600 is very close to R9 290 crossfire price though and that would destroy this as it's not too far behind with just one.
Feel sorry for anyone who bought titan's!
Crossfire/SLI comparisons would be interesting, providing the drivers play nice this would get quite badly beaten I imagine, very impressive except the price!
Whats the recommended PSU for this?
mains draw with an i7 is only 318w, so 500 should easily see you right with lots of headroom for when you fancy priming while running furmark and heaven all at once.
I'm thinking I just order the damn thing and be done with it.
are you still using the Q6600? You'll be hugely CPU bound in nearly everything if you are. That being said, unless you've got a pressing reason to get it right this minute. I'd be tempted to wait and see what the custom 290Xs look like. If only to avoid the kicking you'll give yourself if they turn out to be loads faster.
