slim is always beautiful! not bad with the performance also. the battery life is okay, gaming quality is very good, also pricing of this laptop is reasonable competing with other gaming laptops out there.

the bad side of this is it can get noisy and loud... well it's because it's slim type and airflow is in a very tight space that's why there's no way that noise can be reduced.

At this level and price the screen really should be IPS.
Being noisy and loud negates the 'thinness' for me.

Seems like a OEM version of MSI GS70 but with better price. Friend use to have one and "Can get noisy and loud" is like an understatement. He sold it within a week and got the Asus G750 instead.

Its not like 17" laptops are made to be carried around... I'd rather opt for something with better cooling if I was to game on one.

I can see the point though, my 17" laptop barely fits in my bag but then dual GPUs so not too surprising, I would never normally carry it around. My previous 15" laptop was too big to carry in one hand, it was also a bit bulky in a bag or on a bedside table, heck even on my lap. Now I have an 11.6" netbook style device with a GT 650M and it's nearly perfect, fits everywhere, easy to put into any bag. The point is that no matter how thin or light a giant sheet of plywood is, the width and height make it a pain to move and for that reason 17" laptops aren't normally suited to being moved around.

I see your point, but I would still suggest that there will still be a number of people who do intend to carry laptops of that size around, and that they chose a 17" simply because they wanted the bigger screen size.
