so does that mean the psu on this page (third one down)
    Clicky
    will only support 754 socket?
or when its says :Fully compatible to all AMD (including K8) and Intel P4 CPUs
does that mean i can use it for socket 939?
    safely?
im ordering my psu tonight it is either gonna be a enermax noise taker 420w or the tagan
    it needs to go in:
    nforce4 A8N deluxe SLI
    winchester 3000+ socket 939
    geforce 6600gt PCI-E
    some pc3200 corsair ram 1gig
    and a 60gb hardrive......

which psu of these two will be better for my pound?
    help greatly appreiciated!

I've got a PSU roundup planned for Jan 2005, or late this year if I can fit it in, and it features the 420W Tagan Sorry for the wait, the roundup has been on my to-do list for a while now.

Before I write the review, I can tell you that the 420W Tagan is a very fine PSU. The only thing it hasn't coped with is a loaded dual Xeon, 6800 Ultra SLI rig, for obvious reasons. So unless you're putting 400W+ loads on the unit, the 420W version is highly recommended, go forth and purchase
