no offeence david or to hexus or anyof them. But i wouild cosnider this a waste of time and resources ! If intel is orgainizing it, then they probably are looking to provoske that intel is good for gaming to those 400ppl. This would be the enthuisast community. who know amd64 are better at gaming then of the intel. !! Personally i would rather spend my £39.50 on something else.
Plenty of people still use Intel for gaming. My personal preference at the moment is AMD for CPU's, although I'm not particularly brand loyal so that can change. A friend of mine has a P4... it's down to what individuals choose.

Well I won't be goingas I'm somewhat rubbish at playing games... but I'm sure it will be a good event, regardless of whose processors are better, lol

Lots of gamers in one place... it's fun and entertaining. I think you are missing the point of the whole event. It's a LAN PARTY!

He obviously hasn't been to many, even small Lan partys are alot of fun. It's just the fact that you are around everyone you are shooting. It's great
