Impressive stuff, I wonder just how much they'll be selling for, though!
Hope it's for a good price
Impressive read and write speeds. Looks like the SSD price war might be about to hot up some more next year. You can bet that Samsung will react when Corsair release this.
Those are some astonishing results for a Phison controller. Maybe I'm doing them a disservice, but they're hardly known for high performance parts - more like basic but reliable ones. Nice to see a new player in the performance game
Since the other thread for this review seems abandoned:
The choice of drives to compare to in this article is pretty bizarre, IMHO.
The Plextor M6 Pro and Crucial M500 both have the same Marvell controller so it tells us very little to compare them to each other (just look at the consistency graphs) - whilst best sellers like Samsung aren't compared at all.
And it's not clear whether this drive should be compared alongside the bargain end of the market (e.g. Hynix) or premium end (e.g. Samsung Pro).
great drive, love Corsair products but the ssd market is very competitive so maybe it will be a good addition if the price is right
Agree with directex, it seems odd to compare with those drives as Neutron series is alway a performance drive and not a value drive. However I like it, now the price?
Is the XT set to replace the GTX or is it just another series in the ever expanding offering from Corsair?
The prices of the GTX series are quite high and would expect the XT to be even more.

It would have been interesting seeing some more comparisons of other SSD's especially ones with Toshiba based chips.
