The one display port seems like a massive oversight for a card of this spec.
I personally think the price and spec is very compelling.
Not sure the younger crowd can afford to spend that much on a GPU. It's more for a different geographical market I expect.Quote:
It's one for the younger crowd, we suppose.
This seems more like a card suited to multi GPU setup. It is nowhere near good enough for 4K on it's own, but twinned up I bet that 8GB would allow it to perform better than say, 2 970s
I am not sure about this product, it uses way too much electricity and I am not impressed with the liquid cooling idea of such a card, I will just stick to the gtx 970 at this point a difference of only 6fps will not cost a leg. The fury x is the only AMD card I can buy at this point.
Quite chuffed my ASUS Strix 980 arrived yesterday for £349 delivered- hadn't realised that they 980s were still THAT expensive!
Is 3-slots standard for bolt-on liquid cooling frames like what NZXT do?
Is it just me or is this design a lot less attractive then the earlier Devil's edition cards from PowerColor? (not that this has anything to do with performance, just a tought as a lot of people tends to spend a lot on looks nowdays)
Well it brings up the new design without actually takeing a stand on it, just saying people will be divided, and lets say im in camp B (and i think its not appealing esteticly) i would like to get arguments from a person in camp A (who likes the new design) so i can better understand the thinking of abandoning a quite great design for a less attractive one (IMO). :-)
i like everything since the devil by PowerColor start to born and the next series after. but this Devil seriously EPIC card! specially with AIO cooling. From the review above this Devil managed to rank up to the top of the charts compare with other brands with the same card of R9 390X.
Excellent review Mr. Parm Mann of Hexus, i have a great time reading it ;) Thank you.
