75W (PCIe slot) + 75W (6 pin) + 150W (8 pin) =/= 375WMSI ensures that power delivery won't be a problem by adding both six- and eight-pin PCIe connectors for an improbable 375W
Of course, there's no guarantee that the card sticks to PCie specs, but if it does the maximum power it can draw would be 300W.

Personally the fact "No faster than GTX 980 Ti" assures this will not be considered for the next PC. It's 1080 brother does look fantastic though, albeit over £700 @ Scan.
Sooooo...we're just not gonna get those cheaper non-founders day cards like promised ?

980Ti is still looking good. Of cause, if this does eventually drop to the standard 70-series pricing it will be a must have.
With new architecture around the corner, I'd be exetremely hesitant about buying any 10** card unless it gave an insane bang for buck.
