They have basically used the same cooler and probably a similar PCB to the RX480 Red Devil card.

However,I am uncertain apart from re-using older parts,what they have achieved over the RX470 Red Devil I own:

I could run the core overclocked to nearly 1400MHZ,and so did HardOCP too,and I didn't even push the overclock.

It's a tweaked old part for sure....
But to keep AMD kinda in the game I guess it achieves what it's meant to do

So....RX480 8Gb is where it's at, at least until stock is depleted.
