HEXUS energizes the PowerPack with another 'Golden Sample'

HEXUS welcomes ex-Gainward manager Andy Davies to the team of the UK’s most trusted reviewers

HEXUS.net - the UK's largest and best trusted on-line PC technology resource - is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Davies as its Commercial Development Manager.

Andy comes to us with a wealth of experience and strong trade relationships. His most recent high-profile appointment was as the UK Business Development Manager for Gainward - the award-winning 3D accelerator maker recognised by NVIDIA as its ‘most outstanding partner’.

Our tests give totally impartial advice on what to buy. But, providing expert editorial and using the highest-quality testing procedures don’t come cheap, especially when delivering to 5.4 million people – the number HEXUS and its new associate DVdoctor.net are are set to exceed this year.

So, one of Andy's main responsibilities will be to consult with the world-class companies that already recognise the value of working with HEXUS, and help them to do the ethical thing and support us in keeping open to you the invaluable window of real-time, trusted information we provide.

We hope you'll join us in welcoming Andy into the HEXUS.community forums.

There you’ll find some cute, but a bit silly, pictures of Andy and have the chance to win a go-very-faster 3D graphics accelerator, which depending upon who you choose will come courtesy of either ATi Technologies or NVIDIA.

All you need do is come up with the best caption to accompany the pic where Andy makes clear he just loves getting his leg over an elephant. Ooh, er!

The one that leaves Andy with the reddest face and us ROFL wins its writer the choice between an ATI RADEON X800 128 graphics card and an NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT. It’s a tough call, but someone’s going to have to make it!

    ***STOP PRESS***

Instead of the 6600GT, we have now got a 6800Ultra to give away courtesy of our friends at XFX - http://www.xfxforce.co.uk

Oh, and there more great news. Courtesy of the HEXUS Über WebMesiter XTreme - Iain 'daddy wagon' McWhirter - a spanking new, beautifully crafted, ultra improved HEXUS site is approaching launch. This is a ground-up engineering job and will be live soon!

    Caption for first pic:

Dang, where'd that camera come from?!? Five more minutes and I'll have this big sexy baby just where I want her, and want her I do. Let's just hope that Mr. Happy won't be as limp as my left arm and leg.

    Caption for second pic:

Andy savors the memory of last night and reads more of the Pachyderm-Sutra for ideas on how to handle his new love and her two 'eager' friends. It's a good thing he remembered to bring those viagra laced sport drinks too. The only thing that worries poor Andy is his doubt that he will survive the Watersports, but his old inflatible girlfriend may be just the thing to save him.

    ...something something...

    ...he was doing the elephant...

    ...something something...

    ...elephant sees a mouse...

    ...something something...

    ...elephant screams...

    ...something something...

..."Yeah baby, who's your daddy" screamed Andy...

    ...something something...

The advantage of this caption is that it will be updated next month to Caption 5.3 and it will be even funnier - while using less lines of code even though it will reference a wider variety of animals

After an accident mounting the elephant with the help of its trunk Andy was unable to situp properly. However despite his obvious discomfort he couldnt wipe the inane grin from his face.

Andy: Look! This watch definatly was NOT GOLD on the way in!.... yep just one of the perks of a good ELEPHISTING ME THINKS.

Pic 2: Hmmm I wonder what else of mine would look good in gold?... he says eyeing one of the large stone garden orniments.. particularly the one portraying a naked bathing goddess.

And welcome to the Hexus Andy
