Will the screen still fail quicker than a Russia Olympiad in a drugs test ?
My Surface Book 1 is still going strong and one of my favourite purchases ever. But the SB2 doesn't offer anything different for me to upgrade and Thunderbolt will be a must for my next purchase so I hope the SB3 offers it when the time comes to upgrade.
@Zhaoma: Two words... Quad and core (i7)
DDR3 in 2018? For a £1.5k laptop? The HP elitebook trouncing it in the benchmarks is telling, as the only differences between the two are DDR4 and active cooling. The HP is cheaper too, and lighter.
Ryzen mobile in this would be interesting - quad core, bit lower battery life (but given the huge reserve available, it'll probably still be more than acceptable), and a lot more graphics oomph without resorting to a dGPU
I can't picture myself running Crysis on this...The ultimate laptop
£1500 for a laptop with a 2C/4T last generation 25W Core i3 7300U with an HD620 IGP??
In other news,Microsoft has a massively profitable Q2 2018,as they sell parts which are more akin to a sub £1000 laptop for £1500.
This is why we need AMD to get some more traction in laptops.
