only £210... is it me or is a £1k decent gaming machine to last 5years now a pipe dream?
Great memory... If you have money to waste and spend your days running synthetic benchmarks.
no, what I mean is at the time I built it, it was a reasonable-good gaming system and was ok for 3 years, and passable up to 5 years. It's no good for modern titles, I'm not claiming that. Now to get that kind of predicted life from a new build from scratch I don't think you could do it for £1k. Cat5th may know better though...
Aye that's the thing... I knew what you meant but a new build gaming system for £1k isn't doable unless you have a compromise somewhere
But 5 years ago - you could.... just
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Kinda - I meant the cpu lol
To be fair I've just made a real mess of explaining myself....
I'll just get another coffee don't mind me

I Have the 3200 version of TeamGroups ddr4 and it Overclocks to 3466 @ 14-14-14-31 timings on my Ryzen 2700x with 1.4v so perhaps there is little to no difference 3200 kits and the 3466 kits except being factory overclocked + a higher pricetag.
I have tried to get 3600 stable but just isnt possible on my ryzen2700x I can boot to windows but it crashes soon after attempting any stress test.
I have the 8-Pack branded version of the Team Dark Pro 3200 speed kit.
Samsung B Die, CL14, and (at the time) a lot cheaper than this one.
I will be upgrading to 2700x from 1700x.For me 200euros on top is worth it for those 10% gain in performance and to be able to overclock ram.
