2560x1600 would be so much more interesting though.

Hopefully more 16:10 monitors are in the works from other companies. I've always preferred it over 16:9 but due to lack of 16:10 options obviously had to go with 16:9.

Still love my Dell U2410, though its now become surplus to needs and will soon be looking for a new home, shame though, love the 16:10 ratio!

Bought a pair of Dell UltraSharp U2412Ms, last year. Hopefully they'll last me a long time. 16:10 is so much better on the eyes.

    Re: Aoc x24p1

I've had a triplet of Dell U2412Ms for the last few years. I never saw any point in 1080p (which makes me a "told you so", I guess, lol). A 30" screen has replaced the middle one (still working, so now a spare). One of the really nice things about the Dells is that they pivot. Portrait mode's 1200x1920 is a good size for many web pages, especially if you like a browser with classically-styled menus and toolbars plus a tab manager that creates multiple rows rather than requiring you to scroll endlessly to find hidden tabs.

    Re: Aoc x24p1

I've been using a U2412M since 2011, never saw a compelling reason to upgrade. Still don't really, but I'm glad to see there's another good 24" 16:10 option out there.

What probably would get me to upgrade is a similar monitor, but 27" and 2560x1600. Ideally with FreeSync as well. There are the 30" 2560x1600 ones, but those tend to be very pricey, and would take up more real estate.

So...no mention of latency and usage by casual gamers...any idea what the ms value is, etc?

    Re: Aoc x24p1

Please give us gaming versions in 27/30in at 1600p Then I'm in. Still clinging to my dell 24in 2407wfp-hc (and both of my 22in 16:10's...LOL). We don't own a monitor that isn't 16:10 in our family (at any house...ROFL).

    Please kill 16:9 ASAP

now y'all making me feel inadequate with my 1080p. At least it's a QLED but still - should have picked up one of these Dell's like 7 years ago.

I guess I will move my head more
